The truth about 50cc motorcycles is that are a hot commodity. If you have never tried riding one, you are really missing out on an awesome hobby. Nothing beats gearing up with your friends and taking a ride. My favorite time to go is in the fall when the leaves change, its funny how much more you can see when you are riding around on a 50cc motorcycle compared to riding around in a car. The difference is absolutely astounding.
Not only are 50cc motorcycles fun to ride, they are also very easy to store as they don't take up much space. I was suprised as I never really thought of this before. Also, its so much easier to find a parking space believe it or not, as you don't have to look for a huge spot like a car takes up, you can easily find somewhere else off the beaten lot, where you can park your cycle, instead of searching all over the place.
Also, I was suprised at how much gas I saved when I bought my first cycle. Its funny, you really don't realize how much gas you burn up just running around to run quick errands when driving a car as opposed to driving a 500c motorcycle. I'm convinced there is really no way to see the difference until you own one, unless you have a good friend who owns one who will let you drive one around for a few weeks. If you do happen to have a friend who will let you do this then do it! You will not be sorry, as I'm convinced you will love riding it, even if you don't decide to buy one.
Lastly, one thing you may or may not be concerned about is the environmental impact of 50cc motorcycles. They are alot easier on the environment, and help reduce the emissions, this really is just icing on the cake, no matter what your view may be on the climate. You will be suprised as well about the force these environmentally friendly rides have when you first ride one.
If you haven't tried riding a 50cc cycle yet, you are really missing out. If you can, see if you can find a dealer that is somewhat close to you so that you can try one out and get familiar with them. You only live once! So stop wasting time and gas money and give one a shot, I don't know anyone who has ever regretted trying them out and everyone I know who has, either owns one, or is dying to own one!
