50cc is a good amount of power that is not only economical, it is also great for the environment. There is really no going wrong with a 50cc motor, whether you want a motorcycle or a scooter. I first discovered scooters from a friend, at first I laughed, but after I rode it, I was really suprised at how fun and free it felt. If you have never rode a motor bike, give it a try, the 50cc level of power is a good starting point anyway, even if you are thinking about buying a big hog one day.
If you haven't had a chance to ride one, you can, just go to a dealer and tell them you want to take a test drive. Usually, they will hand you the key, so then you can take one out for a spin and see how you like it. If you are anything like me, you will absolutely love it. It just feels so good to know that you are saving gas, doing the environment a favor, and at the same time it feels great to have the wind in your hair.
When you get the chance and have some time, do it! Don't sell yourself short. You only live once and I guarantee, you will not regret at least trying to ride a 50cc cycle. Whether be a dirt bike, a scooter etc. It really is a fun ride. I now own one and its great for saving gas, especially when I need to just run a quick errand. Its so much faster to, as its easier to park so it saves time.
Also, my girlfriend loves riding it with me. Even if you think your not going to be as "macho" as you would with a harley, you may be suprised to find out that girls like 50cc power as well, whether it be a moped, a scooter or even a dirt bike, its fun to get on a cycle and just get out of the house. Even if its just for a ride, its a great time, especially in great weather, nothing beats it!
