50ccWorld offers our customer's a 1 year limited warranty from the date of delivery of your
scooter (the Strada warranty is for 3 years following the Strada guidelines. Znen built scooters
have a 1 year bumper to bumper excluding wear items ). Limited warranty is for defects from the
manufacturer only. Should purchaser have a part that needs replacing, they should immediately
email us at 50ccworld@gmail.com. Someone with moderate mechanical experience can service the
vehicle. If you are not comfortable servicing your scooter, we recommend that you contact a
certified small engine mechanic to perform repairs on your vehicle. Any damages that occur due
to misuse or improper care of the vehicle including but not limited to exceeding the weight limit
(220 Lbs.), shipping damages, accidents, or gross misuse of normal intended operations are not
covered under the warranty.
WARNINGS
This product is not for use for children under 16 years old. This product is to be operated in
accordance with all city, state, county, and federal laws. Always wear eye protection, a helmet,
and protective clothing. Never carry passengers. And be particularly careful on difficult terrain.
Never engage in stunt riding. Riding and alcohol/drugs don't mix. Avoid excessive speed.
Remember to ride your scooter using common sense and avoiding recklessness.
RISKS INHERENT TO OPERATION
Operating a scooter involves risks and dangers involving serious bodily injury. These risks and
dangers also include but are not limited to paralysis, disability, dismemberment, and death.
These inherent risks may be the result of purchaser's own actions or non-actions involving:
themselves, others, or specific circumstances of the activity occurring, or the neglect or
negligence of themselves and or others. There may be other risks known or unknown to
Purchaser. Purchaser assumes all risks and fully assumes and accepts responsibility for events
that may not be foreseeable including economic loss, social distress, losses, costs, and
damages caused as a result of person's vehicle riding activities.
PURCHASER'S RESPONSIBILITIES
Purchaser understands the nature of riding motor vehicles and motorcycle riding activities and
acknowledges that he or she is qualified to operate a scooter as purchased from Valley
Scooters. Person understands that they must abide by state laws and be in proper physical
condition to ride a scooter. If purchaser is not familiar with operating a scooter, purchaser
should seek professional training and be fully competent before riding their scooter. Purchaser
is also responsible for inspecting and insuring motor vehicle before using it to make sure that
the motor vehicle is safe to use and in riding condition. Scooter should be assembled by a
licensed mechanic or warranty is void. Purchaser/mechanic is responsible for reconnecting any
loose wires, bolts, screws etc that have become disconnected during shipping. Scooters are
shipped in full working order. In the event a wire ,screw or bolt has come loose dealer will
attempt to assist the customer in reconnecting the loose part but since dealer is not there to
look at the scooter no promise is made of successful reconnection. In no circumstance shall a
loose wire or screw or bolt be considered a reason for return of scooter. Mechanic prepping
scooter must check all systems to determine functionality. If any part is found to be defective
customer will send part back to dealer and it will be replaced free of charge. Parts purchased
from an outside sources are not reimbursed, warranty covers only parts provided by dealer or
manufacturer. Customer is liable for labor charge to replace any part covered by warranty.
Finding a defective part on a scooter will not be considered a reason to return scooter. Scooters
may be returned by following return policy on the shipping page.
LICENSING & REGISTRATION
Laws vary from state to state, and 50ccWorld makes no guarantees or claims that the motor
vehicle you purchase is legal for operation in your particular city, county, or state. If required in
your city or state, purchaser is responsible to operate and register motor vehicle in accordance
with state and local laws and ordinances. Every scooter comes with a Certificate of Origin; from
the factory . This can be mailed after scooter is delivered and full name of owner and vin
numbers from scooter are mailed back to 50ccWorld. This is a document just like a car
title. We can also provide a Bill of Sale. If you need one, email us at 50ccworld@gmail.com. The
scooter has an engraved VIN nameplate on the scooter.
WARRANTY
THIS LIMITED WARRANTY COVERS THE FOLLOWING PARTS:
ENGINE: Engine long block assembly, including all internal lubricated parts, i.e. rings, pistons,
pins, crankshaft and, main bearings, the connecting rods, and rod bearings, camshaft bearings,
timing chain gears, rocker arms, valve springs, valve guides, valve seats, valve push rods, valve
lifters, and oil pump. Additionally, the engine head(s), engine block and cylinder barrels will be
covered if they are solely as a result of the mechanical failure of one or more of the internal
lubricated components specified above. The Cooling system must be in good working order
including cooling fans. Accessory items, including but not limited to electrical components of
all types (distributor, alternator and all sensors and electrical control devices), fuel systems,
gaskets, seals, filters, mounts linkage and fluids are not covered by this agreement.
TRANSFER CASE: All internal lubricated parts contained within the transfer case. The transfer
case itself will be covered if damaged solely as a result of the mechanical failure of one or more
of the internal lubricated components contained within the transfer case. Accessory items,
including but not limited to, U-joints, electrical components, linkage, seals, gaskets, mounts or
fluids are not covered by this Agreement.
DIFFERENTIAL: All internal lubricated parts contained within the drive axle housing case. The
drive axle housing itself if damaged solely as a result of the mechanical failure of one or more
or the internal lubricated components contained the drive axle housing. Accessory items,
including but not limited to, backing plates, all brake system components, cables, controls,
linkage, vents, pumps, U-joints, electrical controls, mounts, seals, gaskets, and fluids are not
covered by this Agreement.
TRANSMISSION: All internal lubricated parts contained within the transmission case. The
transmission case itself if damaged solely as a result of mechanical failure of one or more of the
internal lubricated components contained within the transmission case. The Complete
hydraulic system must be flushed including integral transfer case, oil cooler, lines, and new
filter(s) installed Accessory items, including but not limited to, modulators, governors,
electrical controls, linkage, mounts, seals, gaskets, and fluids are not covered by this
Agreement.
COVERAGE AND LIMITATIONS
IMPORTANT: You must have a professional mechanic (any small engine repair shop, motorcycle
shop, or local auto repair shop) assemble your new scooter and do the prep work to assure your
scooter is in good working condition or your warranty is voided. Since scooters are shipped
overseas the mechanic may need to reconnect loose wires or tighten loose screws and or bolts
that have come loose during shipping. You will need to provide proof of this when filing a
warranty claim, so please keep your receipts. You must also have a professional mechanic work
on your scooter to file a claim on the warranty. Subject to the limitations stated in this
agreement, 50ccWorld agrees (at its election) to replace a covered component if the
covered component fails as a result of one or more of the internal lubricated parts within the
component stated warranty period from the date of purchase, while the component is being used
under the conditions and in the manner specified by its original manufacturer.
REPAIRED COMPONENTS: If the components are repaired under the terms of this Agreement they
will be repaired or replaced with component parts of like kind and quality.
LABOR TO REPAIR OR REPLACE PARTS: 50ccWorld does not pay for labor for the removal
and replacement of such component(s) or part(s) or for parts obtained from an outside source
other than ourselves.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
This warranty does not include labor, wearable parts or damaged parts from accidents, abuse, or
shipping. If you have a part that needs replacing, please contact us and we'll send the part
within 5 days, or let you know the lead-time for the part. In some cases, the parts may have to be
shipped from overseas and may take up to 8 weeks for delivery. All warranted parts must first be
sent to our Parts Department, at the owner's expense, for inspection and testing for defects.
Until the parts are sent to us, replacement parts will not be sent under warranty.
THIS AGREEMENT AND LIMITED WARRANTY IS VOID IF: 1. 50ccWORLD IS NOT PROVIDED
A REASONABLE OPPORTUNITY FOR INSPECTION OF A COVERED COMPONENT PRIOR TO
REMOVAL, REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF ANY COVERED COMPONENT. 2. THE CUSTOMER DOES
NOT USE A PROFESSIONAL MECHANIC (SMALL ENGINE REPAIR SHOP, MOTORCYCLE SHOP, OR
AUTO REPAIR SHOP) TO ASSEMBLE AND PREP THE SCOOTER PRIOR TO OPERATION. PROOF OF
THIS WILL BE REQUIRED (WITH A VERIFIABLE RECEIPT) BEFORE PARTS WILL BE REPLACED.
50CCWORLD WILL OFFER A 45-DAY LIMITED WARRANTY TO ANYONE ASSEMBLING THEIR
OWN SCOOTER 3. THE COMPONENTS ARE NOT INSTALLED BY A CERTIFIED LICENSED REPAIR
FACILITY WITHIN 90 DAYS OF THE DATE OF PURCHASE. 4. THE DAMAGE TO THE COMPONENT IS
CAUSED BY A NON-COVERED COMPONENT OR PART OR BY ANY PART OR COMPONENT NOT
PURCHASED FROM 50CCWORLD. 5. THE CUSTOMER FAILS TO FOLLOW THE MINIMUM
MAINTENANCE AND BREAK-IN REQUIREMENTS SUGGESTED BY THE MANUFACTURER, AND/OR
FAILS TO PROVIDE PROPER SERVICE DOCUMENTS. 6. WARRANTY IS VOID IF HEAT TABS ARE
MELTED.
LIMITED WARRANTY TRANSFERABILITY
This agreement is provided to the original purchaser and is non transferable.
NO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR AGREEMENTS:
THERE ARE NO AGREEMENTS OR WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED INCLUDING
WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OTHER THAN
THOSE STATED IN THIS AGREEMENT. 50CCWORLD SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE
PAYMENT OF DAMAGES, OTHER THAN THE SUMS SPECIFIED IN THIS AGREEMENT AND LIMITED
WARRANTY, FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL LOSS OR DAMAGE ARISING FROM INJURY,
LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF TIME, RENTAL VEHICLES, PROFITS, OR INCOME TO THE CUSTOMER AS A
RESULT OF A FAILURE OF ANY COMPONENT OR PART.
TOWING CHARGES:
All towing charges incurred are the responsibility of the customer.
NO OTHER AGREEMENT:
There are no other agreements between the parties with regards to the components purchased
except as stated in this agreement & limited warranty.
IMPORTANT: ALL SALES ARE FINAL. RETURNS OR EXCHANGES ARE NOT OFFERED BY 50CCWORLD UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
YOU AGREE NOT TO JOIN IN ANY LAWSUIT WITH ANOTHER PERSON OR SERVE AS A CLASS
REPRESENTATIVE OF ANY CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AGAINST 50CCWORLD ARISING OUT
OF YOUR PURCHASE OR USE OF PRODUCTS ORDERED FROM scootersus.com
INDEMNIFICATION: YOU AGREE TO DEFEND, INDEMNIFY AND HOLD COMPLETELY HARMLESS
50CCWORLD FROM AND AGAINST ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, DAMAGES, COSTS, AND
EXPENSES, INCLUDING ATTORNEYS’ FEES, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE
PRODUCTS PURCHASED VIA THE SITE.
PLEASE NOTE:
It is the buyer responsibility to determine if a particular
scooter is legal to operate in their state. Some states like
CA may require special equipment and certain certification
in order to register and operate the vehicle in their state.
50CCWORLD clearly labels which models are approved
for use in CA by using the term CARB approved.
